KL-10
Water-Based Concentrate for Piles, Poles & Timber Formwork
Kylint KL-10 is a water-based, low-VOC formwork release agent concentrate developed specifically for concrete pile production, utility pole manufacturing and timber formwork. It forms a uniform release film with excellent adhesion to mould surfaces, tolerates hard water well, and dilutes on site with water for economical, reliable demoulding.
Uses
A versatile water-based release agent for piles, poles, timber and precast concrete production. Suitable for steel, timber and fibreglass moulds.
Concrete Piles
Spun and prestressed concrete pile production.
Utility Poles
Precast concrete poles for power and utility networks.
Timber Formwork
Timber and plywood formwork systems.
Precast Concrete
General precast production on steel, timber and fibreglass moulds.

Product Characteristics
Appearance & Colour
Yellow-brown liquid
Base
Water-based concentrate (low VOC)
How To Use
Dilute with clean water — 1:6 to 1:10 for piles and utility poles, 1:3 to 1:4 for timber formwork (use a lower ratio in cold conditions).
For best results, first mix about 2 parts water to 1 part concentrate, let it disperse, then add the remaining water while stirring to a uniform emulsion.
On a clean, dry mould, apply evenly by brush, roller or fine mist spray for complete coverage.
Allow the film to dry before placing concrete. Protect treated moulds from rain and re-apply if exposed.
Typical Coverage & Dilution
Figures apply to the product after dilution and are a guide only. Actual coverage depends on formwork type, surface condition, porosity and application method; rates are lower on old or worn moulds.
